She is survived by her daughters, Marguerite Tipton, Lula Noel; sons, Harold Lloyd, Jack Lloyd Louis Loyd; sister, Dorothy Smith; ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren and a host of other loving and caring family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, August Loyd; daughter, Patsy Loyd, and her grandson, Harold Raymond Lloyd.
Services were held Thursday, April 28, 2005, 10:00 a.m., at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with interment at Magnolia Cemetery, Onalaska, Texas.

For many years, Willie worked side-by-side with Allie at their Exxon Service Station on Ella Boulevard and West 43rd Street as bookkeeper for their business. Willie Mae lived out her remaining years at the Spring Shadows Pines and Parkway Place Nursing Facilitie. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the nursing and healthcare staff of Spring Shadows Pines and Parkway Place Nursing Homes and Compassionate Care Hospice for their loving care and kindness during Willie's extended stat at the facilities. The family is grateful for their commitment to her care. Visitation will be Thursday, Jun 5, from 5:00pm to 7:00;m at Waltrip Funeral Home, located at 1415 Campbell Road, in Houston, Texas. She was born September 17, 1926 in Houston, the daughter of Otto Eugene and Virginia Brunson Jansen. She had been a lifelong resident of Dayton where she attended Dayton High School and was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Fingleman worked for the Dayton Independent School District in Food Service for over 23 years. During this time she befriended many students with her caring love. She enjoyed her friends and cooking, but most of all she loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
Mrs. Fingleman passed away on January 21 in Humble after an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of over 50 years, August Marcelle Fingleman; and brothers Wayne A. Jansen and Eugene Jansen.
Survivors include her son, David Fingleman of Conroe; daughter, Virginia Chapin and husband, Melvin, of Elkhart; three grandchildren, Leslie Danaher of Humble, Heather Currie and husband, Craig and Matthew Gilbreath, all, of North Carolina; and one great-grandchild on the way; as well as other family members and friends.
Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Dayton, was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Knowles moved to Upshur County in 1937, and graduated from East Mountain High School. She was a bookkeeper and a member of the Memorial Baptist Church, Oakwood.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Sally Knowles; sister, Mildred Bagley; and three brothers, Russell Lloyd, Bob Lloyd and Frank Lloyd.

Mrs. Knowles is survived by her husband, Bob Knowles of Oakwood; daughter, Susan Irons of Oakwood; sisters, Edna Richie and of Delores Elwell, both of Buff City, Tenn., and Joy Welch of Brenham; brother, Herman Lloyd of Abilene; granddaughters, Leann Irons and Jennifer Irons, both of Oakwood; and a great granddaughter, Alexis Bell of Oakwood.

Pallbearers will be Mike Richie, Randy Lloyd, George Lloyd, Don Lloyd, James Lee Knowles, Ricky Tryon, Randall Tryon and Steven Jackson.

Condolence calls will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Bailey & Foster, Palestine.
