He was born Nov. 3, 1894 in Madison county to Mr. and Mrs. William Busteed, sr. He was survived by his wife the former Rose Austin who he married on Feb. 24, 1917 at Stanton; 2 sons: John J. at Madison, Louis at Columbus; 7 grandchildren, 2 sisters: Mrs. Susan Reigle at Madison, Mrs. Fannie Miller at Vienna, Virginia.
