bullet  General Notes:

Jesse served in the Confederate Army Co. G, 59th Alabama Infantry, Siler Guards. Enlisted 8-8-1862 in Montgomery, Alabama. He was wounded in the right hand and left shoulder at the Battle of Chickamauga, Tennessee. Some of his fingers remained stiff. Jesse was sent to Concert Hall Hospital in Montgomery, Alabama. Jesse was in the hospital Nov. 15,1864. Jesse applied for a Confederate Pension # 20346.
