• Obituary. 2 Frieda Louise Emma (Brundieck) Cornett was born to her loving parents Heinrich Friedrich "Henry" and Louise Augusta "Augusta" (Meyer) Brundieck on Tuesday August 3, 1915 at rural Wisner, Cuming County Nebraska. Frieda was baptized and confirmed at First Trinity Lutheran Church of Altona, Wayne County. Frieda attended First Trinity Lutheran School. Frieda was united in marriage to Clarence Cornett on Sunday February 13, 1938 at First Trinity Lutheran Church, the couple were blessed with a daughter and two sons over the years of their marriage. Frieda and Clarence moved their family to Long Beach, Los Angeles County California in 1941. Frieda and Clarence returned in 1948 to Pilger, Stanton County Nebraska to farm, then in 1966 they moved to Milwaukee, Milwaukee County Wisconsin. While in Milwaukee, they were foster parents while Clarence was attending the Lutheran Laymen's Institute. In 1969, the couple moved to Saskatchewan Canada where Clarence served as a lay pastor and Frieda would play the organ for services. In 1988 they retired back to Wisner to be closer to their family. Frieda was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Wisner. Sadly Frieda passed at the Wisner Care Center on Friday February 14, 2014 at the age of 98 years, 6 months, 11 days which does not include her last day, she lived a total of 35,990 days. Frieda had been a resident of the Wisner Care Center for the last eleven years. Frieda's visitation was held at the Minnick Funeral Home of Wisner on Monday February 17, 2014 from 3p to 8p. Frieda visitation resumed at 9:30a one hour prior to her funeral service at the St. Paul Lutheran Church at Wisner on Tuesday February 18, 2014 at 10:30a. Frieda was interred in the Pilger Cemetery. Frieda's information was provided from researching many resources and my memory. This biography was created as an honor to Frieda by Loren R.
