• Obituary: Pine Isaland Eagle: Lee Co, FL. Jimmie Jewell Eisenberg, of St James City, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2009 in Cape Coral, Florida. She was born April 1, 1928 in Hartford, Arkansas to James and Jewel Schies who preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Joe Eisenberg, son Wesley Cornett and wife Rhonda of Tomah, Wisconsin and son Terry Cornett and wife Becky of Lansing, Kansas; a daughter, Carmen Podzemny and husband Mike of Odessa, Texas: 10 grandchildren: 10 great-grandchildren: 3 great-great grandchildren; one sister, Betty Holland and husband Wallace of Ft Smith, Arkansas; and two nieces.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on May 16 at the First Baptist Church of St James City. Gathering afterward in remembrance of Jimmie.
Memorial donations can be made to Hope Hospice of Cape Coral.
Jimmie married Robert Eugene Cornett, son of William Augustus Cornett and Minnie Arizona Slay, on 2 Oct 1943 in Washita Co., OK.1 (Robert Eugene Cornett was born on 9 Jan 1926 in Carson Co, TX 3 4 and died on 1 Apr 2009 in Carson Co, TX 4.)
