She was born Nov. 19, 1937, in Elkins, Ark., the daughter of James A. and Macel Van Brunt Clark. She was a graduate of Elkins High School. She served as secretary for the Washington County Board of Education for 37 years. She was a member of the Altrusa Club and of Center Street Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, James A. and Macel Van Brunt Clark.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Gerald M. Harriman, to whom she married Dec. 21, 1956 ; three brothers, Bob H. Clark of Elkins, Max A. Clark and his wife Letha of Japton, Ark., Bruce Clark and his wife Vivian of Elkins, Ark. ; one sister, Charlotte Morris and her husband William J. of Fort Smith, Ark. ; several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 10 a. m., Wednesday at Center Street Church of Christ. Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens, under the direction of Moore?s Chapel. Visitation will be from 5 p. m. to 7 p. m. Monday, Feb. 13, 2006, at Moore?s Chapel. Officiating : Jack English.
