• Obituary: Benton Co Daily Record, 21 Dec 2005, Benton Co, AR. ² ELKINS James A. "Jim" Clark, 94, of Elkins died Monday at his home. He was born Aug. 21, 1911, in Patrick to Albert Richard and Martha Elizabeth Reed Clark. He was a retired farmer and member of the Tuttle Church of Christ. He served on the Elkins School Board and was an elections supervisor for the city of Elkins and Richland Township for more than 20 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Macel VanBrunt Clark, two brothers, six sisters and two great-grandsons. Survivors include three sons, Bob H. Clark of the home, Max A. Clark of Huntsville and Bruce Clark of Elkins ; two daughters, Virginia Harriman of Fayetteville and Charlotte Morris of Fort Smith ; 10 grandchildren ; three step-grandchildren ; 14 greatgrandchildren ; and five stepgreat-grandchildren. Service will be 10 : 30 a. m. Thursday at the Tuttle Church of Christ. Burial will be in Mount Olive Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 p. m. today at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville. James married Macel VanBrunt, daughter of Smith Harrison VanBrunt and Ada Bell Wood, on 29 Sep 1934 in Washington Co, AR.¹ (Macel VanBrunt was born on 16 Mar 1912 in Franklin Co, AR ³ and died on 12 May 2001 in Washington Co, AR ³.)
