Mrs. Ida Mae Bennington, 65, of Rt. 3, died yesterday in the Winchester Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Bennington was born in Frederick County on Nov. 30, 1906, daughter of the late Atwell S. Beatty and Hattie Bassett Beatty White. She was married to Waldo W. Bennington, and was a member of the Kernstown United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Bennington is survived by her husband; three sons, Courtney A. Bennington, Clayton J. Bennington and Claude K. Bennington, all of Winchester; two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Conner of Stephens City, and Mrs. Frances Broy of Reliance; and a half-brother, Marvin O. White of Kernstown; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 2 o'clock at the Kernstown United Methodist Church by the Rev. Charles H. Harless.

The body will be taken to the church one hour before the service.

Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery, Stephens City.

The family will receive friends tomorrow evening at the Jones Funeral Home from 7 to 9 o'clock.
