• Obituary: Dallas Morning News, 4 May 2008, Dallas CO, TX. CLARK, CHARLES KENLEY, M.D. Passed away in Kingwood April 30, 2008. Born in Dallas October 7, 1947, Dr. Clark attended St. Marks and Thomas Jefferson High School. He received his undergraduate degree from Tulane University. In 1972, he received his M.D. degree from Southwestern Medical School and married his wife, Nancy Nicholson. Dr. Clark practiced ophthalmology in Humble and Kingwood since 1980 and was on staff at Kingwood Medical and N.E. Medical Centers. He served tenure as Chief of Staff at Kingwood Medical Center. Dr. Clark was a member of the Texas Medical Association, Houston Ophthalmological Society, the Texas Ophthalmological Association, and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He was preceded in death by his father J. Thomas Clark and sister Caren Clark. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Nancy Clark, his mother Janice Clark, daughter Christine Clark, son Travis J. Clark and wife Stephanie Clark, and grandsons Cole, Austin and Matthew Clark. Friends, family and patients are cordially invited to attend a memorial service 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at Second Baptist Church, North Campus, in Kingwood. A reception will be held following the service.
