Services for Mrs. Winnie Williams, 60, of 1307 NW 21, will be at 2 p. m. Wednesday in Garrison funeral home with Rev. L L. Yearby, pastor of Trinity Baptist church, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
Mrs. Williams died Tuesday morning in the Elk City home of her daughter, Mrs. J. H. Ligon. A native of Kentucky, Mrs. Williams came to Oklahoma with her parents in territorial days. They settled in Calera, Bryan a.county. She came to Oklahoma City a from Ókarche 25 years ago.
Mrs. Willams' husband, T. J. Williams, was a retired shoe repairman. He died in August, 1947.
A member of Trinity Baptist church and Eastern Star lodge, Mrs. Williams is survived by four sons, D. C. Williams. 1422 NW 17; Arthur Williams, Pleasanton, Texas; G. C. Cornett, Shawnee, and J. G. Winnie married John Cornett, son of John Cornett II and Nancy Combs. (John Cornett was born on 3 May 1855 in Perry CO, KY and died on 18 Aug 1900 in Madison CO, AR.)
