After his parents died Lee went to live with Francis Marion Green
and Feliciann Asenith Keller. Listed with them in 1880 census.
Francis Marion petitioned the court for guardianship
May 1, 1882 and Lee was raised with this family.
Lost his left leg at the knee to diabetes in later life, but
those who knew him said he always had a smile on his face.
