John was preceded in death by his father and mother; Jimmy and Katherine Mascorro, his brothers, Jimmy, and Jesse Ray Mascorro and his son; Norman Mascorro.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 60 years, Etta Mascorro of Baytown, son; Jessie Mascorro (Patricia) of Houston, daughters; Jennie Kirk of Galveston, Janet (William) Weedman of Crockett, TX, Sisters; J. Katherine Pebworth of Houston, Joyce Pebworth, of South Carolina, and Brother; Joe Mascorro (Frankie) of Almoner, Mexico.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, July 24,2007, 5 pm-9 pm at Robey Funeral Home.

Funeral Services for John are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2007, at Robey Funeral Home, 403 W. Sterling Ave. in Baytown, Pastor Manual McKnight of Calvary Temple officiating. Interment at Cedar Crest Cemetery.
