Preceded in death by father August Lee Vahl Sr. Survivors: mother: Marie Vahl; daughters, Denise Beel, Brandy Vahl, Grace Edwards; son, August Lee Vahl III; brother, Clyde Vahl; five grandchildren, four great grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 5 P.M. Wednesday with Prayer Service 7 P.M. Wednesday, June 23, 2004 Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside and Interment 10:30 A.M. Thursday, Houston National Cemetery.
