Wessington, May 4, 1947 -
Dalton Testerman, 64, died in the Union Memorial Hospital in Washington D.C. last Saturday morning after an appendectomy in which gangrene had developed. A second operation was performed but failed to help.

Mr. Testerman dad lived here for many years. He sold his farm equipment and household goods last spring, and he and Mrs. Testerman had gone to Falls Church, Virginia to visit at the home of their daughter, Mrs. Ralph Ferrin* and to visit his old home in Virginia.

Surviving are his widow; daughter, Mrs. Ralph Ferrin, and son Wayne, of California; two grandchildren, one sister and five brothers. Funeral services were held Wednesday in Washington, D.C.

Two of his brothers in this vicinity went to Washington by plane. They are Grover Testerman of St. Lawrence and Freel Testerman of south of Wessington.
