Marlow - SARAH ELIZABETH IRWIN, 75, of Marlow, died Sunday, April 27, 2003, in Marlow.
Service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home Chapel in Marlow with the Rev. Alex Costea officiating. Burial will be in Marlow Cemetery.
Sarah Elizabeth was born Feb. 10, 1928, in Sulphur, to Harry M. and Delia Hucks Talley. She attended Davis Schools.
She married Sherman H. Irwin Jr. on July 20, 1944, in Marietta. Mrs. Irwin was a housewife. She lived in Sulphur for ten years and in the Marlow-Duncan area for 48 years.
She spent the past 20 years traveling with her husband in a recreational vehicle.
She was attending a Methodist church in Duncan and was previously baptized in the Christian Church in Sulphur.
Survivors include her husband of the home; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Richard A. and Alberta Irwin of Muskogee, and Joe G. Irwin of Duncan; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Harry Edward and Evelyn Talley of Kingston, and Denver and Melba Talley of Chickasha; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Tama and Ralph Blasier of Norman, Glenna and Walter Lee of Oklahoma City, and Linda and Mike Pierce of Madill; four grandchildren, Jillian Irwin, Joshua Irwin and his wife Emily, Michelle Mills and her husband Chanon, and Laurie Pressler and her husband Arnold; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Leon Irwin, in 1992; and two brothers, Eugene S. Talley and Louis Talley.
Bearers will be Joshua Irwin, Jared Williams, Jim Allen, Leland Cadell, Chanon Mills and Arnold Pressler.
Honorary bearers are James Howard, Bill Watkins, Kenneth Adams, Ted Dean and Smokey Stiles.

Sarah married Sherman Henry Irwin Jr., son of Sherman Henry Irwin Sr. and Minnie Victoria Heisch, on 20 Jul 1944 in Love Co., OK.¹ (Sherman Henry Irwin Jr. was born on 22 Sep 1926 in Carter Co., OK ^{1 2} and died on 8 Oct 2013 in Stephens Co., OK ¹.)
