• Obituary: Miami Dailey News Record, 31 May 1946, Ottawa Co., OK. ² Joe Lawrence, 40-year-old Miamian, died at 8 o'clock this morning in a Talihina, Okla., sanitarium. He had been hospitalized there for several months.
Survivors are his wife, Marva Lawrence, and four children, Faye, Betty Joe, Billy Dean and Charles Edward, all of Miami; his mother, Mrs. Lizzie Lawrence, Bengal, Okla.; two brothers, J.D. Lawrence, Cardin, and Bill Lawrence, Bengal; and one sister, Mrs. Chester Fortner, Tacoma, Wash.
Funeral arrangements, under direction of Cooper Funeral home, are incomplete.
