John Kenneth Chandler

• Obituary. ¹ A resident of Berwyn Heights, MD, he was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis H. Chandler.

Survivors include children, Barbara Ann (Jose) Jaquez, Anna Marie "Cindy" (Brian) Strout, John Kenneth, Jr., Frederick, Harold (Daria), & Janet Kay (Matthew) Churchwell; brothers, Harry E. Chandler of Florida & James T. Chandler of Mississippi; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Chandler was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, U.S.S. R.E. KRAUS AD 151, 1948 to 1952, a Past Commander and life member of the American Legion Post No. 108, Cheverly, MD, member of the Ancient Free Masons, Collington Lodge, Bowie, MD, member of the Loyal Order of Moose, College Park, MD, Lodge No. 453.

Graveside services were conducted Wednesday, January 28, 2009.

John married Phyllis Ann Hagee. (Phyllis Ann Hagee was born on 13 May 1930 in Pulaski Co., VA ¹ and died on 9 Jan 2008 in Prince George CO, MD ¹.)
