• Obituary: Brian - College Station Eagle, 13 Feb 2004, Brazos CO, TX. BUFFALO \emdash Services for Truman Orville Grissom, 68, of Oakwood and formerly of Cypress are set for 10 a.m. Friday at the Buffalo Funeral Home Chapel in Buffalo.

Jamie Duplichan will officiate. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. at Houston National Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Grissom died Wednesday in Palestine.

He was born in Decatur and retired from Western Auto Corp. after 40 years.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Grissom of Oakwood; three sons and daughters-in-law, Alan and Sandra Grissom of Houston, Robert and Melinda Grissom of Waller and Curtis and Monica Grissom of Jersey Village; a stepson, Mike Timme Jr. and his wife, Tina, of Blanco; a stepdaughter, Helen Jones of London; a brother and sister-in-law, Wayne G. and Beverly Grissom of Conroe; a sister, Donna Gayle Duncan of Spring; his mother, Gladys Wilson of Conroe; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild

Truman married Gladys Henrietta Stowell, daughter of William Wesley Stowell and Oma Ray Ross.
