• Obituary: Kerrville Daily Times, 2 Feb 2007, Kerr Co, TX. ¹ KERRVILLE ? Lena Maye Ellison Ingram ?Jerb? Stone died peacefully on Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2007, surrounded by family at a care center in Kerrville, Texas, at the age of 86.

Jerb was born May 4, 1920, in Canadian, Okla., to Joseph L. and Jennie Bell Ellison. She came to Kerr County with her husband, Doyle Ingram, in 1946. She and her husband owned and ran a gas station and café in Ingram, where she made many lasting friendships. In 1957 she moved to Kerrville and later married Anton Stone. She will be well remembered by many residents for the years she worked in restaurants such as the Raleigh House, the Chatterbox and the Grove.

She was preceded in death by her parents, seven sisters and brothers, and by her husband Anton.

Jerb is survived by her six loving children, Judith Ingram Rowe and husband Gilbert Rowe of Galveston, Rita Ingram Ramsey and husband Tommy Ramsey of Austin, Jennie Bell Ingram Taylor and husband Billy Taylor of Kerrville, Lyle Brummett and wife Barbara Brummett, Kay Stone Dimitri and husband Tony Dimitri of Austin, and Charles Stone and Dorothy Crider of Ingram; by her 12 grandchildren, Atticus Rowe, Jonathan Ramsey, Kyra Doss, Lisa Azua, Thad Moore, Janet Taylor-Lee, Matthew Taylor, Alaina Uribi, Michael, Sabrina and Dusty Dimitri, and Jessica Stone; 14 great-grandchildren; by her brother, Cecil Ellison of Weimar; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Highway, on Friday, Feb. 2, 2007, from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2007, in the chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home, with the Rev. Frankie Enloe officiating. Interment will follow at Nichols Cemetery in Ingram.

Pallbearers are Atticus Rowe, Matthew Taylor, Art Azua, Michael Dimitri, Jonathan Ramsey and Joel Uribe.

The family wishes to thank their mother?s physicians, nurses, and staff of Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital, Parson?s House, Hilltop Village and SPMH Hospice for their very personal interest and care of our mother, and for their concern and compassion for the family during Jerb?s illness.
