Thurman was killed in a truck wreck out side of Minden, Louisianna 1n 1950 in the truck with him was a man named Avery and his son Warren who was 10 at the time.
He also belonged to Many Lodge 411, In Many, Louisianna
He went to Texas A&M for one semester. Majored in electrical engineering.
worked for Texas Pipe Line Co. ( Texaco ) in lake Barre, Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana.
His Favorite song was Just a Closer Walk With The.
Thurman was buried at Springville Cemetery, Coushatta, Red River Parish, Louisiana.

  Medical Notes:

Had a small cancer on his lower lip that he was to have removed, But he got killed first.

Thurman married Lillie Lorena Lounsberry on 16 Mar 1934 in Acadia Parish, LA. (Lillie Lorena Lounsberry was born on 10 Jan 1914 in Grand Chenier, Cameron Parish, LA, died on 28 Jul 1994 in Lake City, Hindale CO, CO ³ and was buried on 1 Aug 1994 in Coushatta, Red River Parish, LA.)
