She was born in San Antonio, Texas on August 28, 1924 to Samuel and Victoria (Lane) Stevens.
She leaves behind her two daughters, Barbara Anderson and husband, Edward, and Becky LaFour; grandchildren, Misty Poissoit and husband, Keith, Heather Hamblin and husband, Jarod, Rebecca Vandiver, Kyle Poissoit, Kade Poissoit; sister, Lois Peschel; brother, Sam Griffin; several nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews along with so many other loving family members and caring friends.
Visitation will begin Thursday, September 13, 2007, 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Rev. Boyce will conduct graveside services Saturday, September 15, 2007, 1:00 p.m. at Bandera Cemetery, Bandera, Texas. Pallbearers are: Edward Anderson, Keith Poissoit, Sam Griffin, Lee Porter, David Gould, Johnny Griffin will escort him to his final resting place with Kyle Poissoit and Jarod Hamblin serving as honorary pallbearers.

Rosa married Orville Lafore (LaFour), son of Emmett Waverly Lafore (LaFour) and Estella Byerly. (Orville Lafore (LaFour) was born on 27 Aug 1908 in Chambers CO, TX 2 and died on 20 Apr 1992 in Liberty CO, TX 4.)
