Herman Adrian Singleton

• Obituary: The Dailey Iberian, 23 Nov 2003, Iberia Co, LA. ³ Herman A. Singleton, 69, died Thursday, Nov. 19, 2003, at his residence.

He was a native of Aransas Pass, Texas, and a resident of New Iberia for the past 40 years.
He graduated from the University of Texas A and I, where he received a degree in secondary education and lettered in football and track. He taught school in Waco, Texas, and Delcambre, worked in the oilfield and for more than 30 years was a horseshoer.

He is survived by four daughters, Diane Singleton Adams and her fiancee, Rickie Andrus, of Arnaudville, M. Gale Singleton Landry and her husband, Reed, of Franklin, Karen Lynn Singleton Boudreaux of New Iberia and Sherry Singleton Louviere and her husband, Tate, of Youngsville; five grandchildren, Gary Joseph Boudreaux, Jennifer Lynn Boudreaux, Katie Rose Adams, Morgan Taylor Louviere and Hailey Elizabeth Louviere.

Mr. Singleton was preceeded in death by his wife, Rose Mary Smith Singleton; and his parents, Everett and Mildred Singleton.

Herman married Rose Mary Smith. (Rose Mary Smith was born on 6 Aug 1933 ² and died on 4 Jan 2003 in Lafayette Parish, LA ².)
