• Obituary: Houston Chronicle, 19 Apr 2004, Harris CO, TX. ² HOMER "JACK" MCCOY, 80, of Pearland, passed away on Friday, April 16, 2004. He proudly served his country in the Army Airforce during WWII. Jack also proudly served his city as a Houston Police Officer. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Theda McCoy; daughter, Denise Michelle McCoy; sons, Michael Patrick, Lawrence Marlin, Donald Eugene McCoy; 5 grandchildren and a host of other loving family and friends. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Monday, April 19, 2004 at Corl's Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held in his honor on Tuesday, April 20, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.

Homer married Theda Belle Monteau, daughter of Lawrence Monteau and Leona Ashcroft Barrow. (Theda Belle Monteau was born on 24 Mar 1928 in Harris CO, TX ³ and died on 15 May 2008 in Brazoria CO, TX ¹.)
