Gaston was born Oct. 24, 1921 in Hanover to William Jennings and Bertha (Hughes) Davidson. She was a member of Rockdale Full Gospel Church, a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 6525, a life-long resident of Gause and active in all gospel singing conventions. She was also a homemaker and seamstress.
Her husband, Garth Gilmore Gaston, preceded her in death.
Survivors include son, Gilmer Gaston and wife, Norma, of Gause; brothers, Henry Davidson Sr. of Rockdale, William Carroll Davidson of Milano and Norman Gail Davidson of Gause; grandchildren Tonia and friend, Len Borowski of Austin, Deallen Gaston and wife, Connie of San Antonio, Jeremy Gaston and wife, Angie, of Gause and Dalaiah Eliand and husband, Billy Bob, of College Station; and seven great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Gause Cemetery Association.
