• Obituary: The Courier - Journal, 20 Jul 1969, Louisville, Jefferson CO, KY. 2 Mrs. William M. Hays, 55, of 3501 Mayo Drive, died at 11:45 a.m. Saturday at Jewish Hospital. She was a native of Ary, Ky., and was the former Hazel S. Stacy.
Mrs. Hays was a counselor at Waggner Junior High School for 14 years and was a member of the Kentucky Educational Association and the National Educational Association. She also was a member of the Bashford Manor Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Dr. Myron Hays, Ithaca, N.Y., and a grandson.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, at Ratterman's, 3800 Bardstown Road, with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. The body will be at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society.
