Doris Ledford

• Obituary: Tribune - Chronicle, 14 Nov 2003, Marion CO, IN. ¹ Doris (Ledford) Adams, 76, Marion, passed away at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday in Rolling Meadows Health Care, LaFontaine.
She was born in Clay County, Ky., to Palmer and Nancy Ann (Bowling) Ledford. She was a homemaker and a member of Sunnycrest Baptist Church and formerly of Jeff Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher.

Surviving are a daughter, Linda Gail (Lloyd) Ford, Federal Way, Wash.; sons, Lester Hill, Lexington, Ky., Garland (Barbara) Hill, Pensacola, Fla., Kevin C. Hill, Jeff, Ky. and Phillip (Nona) Hill, Swayzee; sisters, Yvonne Cornett, London, Ky., Evelyn Browning, Hamilton, Ohio, and Lucille Taulbee, Viper, Ky.; a brother, Palmer Ledford, Hamilton, Ky.; a stepdaughter, S. Diane Stargel, Marion; two stepsons, Kenneth R. Adams, Rochester, Mich., and Denny Adams Jr., Barberton, Ohio; 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Arley O. Hill, in 1978, and her husband of 18 years, Denny Adams, in 2002; her son, Wendell Hill; and sisters, Mable Adams and Edith Brown.

Services are at 2 p.m. Saturday in Casey Lloyd Funeral Home, 2901 S. Washington St., with the Rev. Gary Ashbrooke officiating. Burial is at Grant Memorial Park cemetery.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Friday and 1 p.m. until services Saturday at the funeral home.
