He was the son of Homer and Ila "Hill" Dietz, born February 19, 1938 at Hazard, Kentucky. He was a retired airplane mechanic at I.M.C. Hangers.
Jerry is survived by three sons, Jesse Dietz and wife Poppi, Gary Dietz and his wife Londa and Troy Dietz and his wife Debbie all of Carthage, one daughter Donna Cool and her husband Chris of Joplin and ten grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother Gary Dietz.
There will be a memorial service at the First Baptist Church, Carthage at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 31, 2006
