Roy O. Woods, 65, of Springdale died June 25, 1985, in Springdale. He was born Nov. 6, 1919, at St. Paul, the son of Soloman Edward and Eliza Ship Woods. He was a retired employee of Tyson Foods. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his widow, Eloise Woods of Springdale; one son, Mike Woods of Springdale; one stepson, Sammy West of Springdale; one daughter, Lynn Trotter of Johnson; two stepdaughters, Loise Rause and Caroline Logue of Springdale; one brother, Virgil Woods of Huntsville; four grandchildren; and five stepgrandchildren.

Services were Thursday, June 27, at Nelson's Funeral Home of Fayetteville with the Rev. Don Warford officiating. Burial was at Stuckey's Cemetery.
