She was predeceased by her husband of over 50 years, Milton Ernest Pitts.

She is survived by her son, Lillard Milton Pitts (Diane); daughters Charmie Brooks (Larry), Alveda McFadden (Russell), Shirley Feducia (Robert) and Darlene Causey; sisters Ada Carlson and Gladys Brooks; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Monday, Aug. 5, at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel, where a funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Larry Brooks II, Ronald Brooks, Kris Brooks, Russell McFadden II, Anthony Feducia, Jarrett Pitts, David Kincade and Tim Clarkson.

Lena married Milton Ernest Pitts. (Milton Ernest Pitts was born on 14 Apr 1916 in Caroline Co., VA ² ⁴ ⁵ and died on 12 Apr 1995 in Fredericksburg (City), VA ² ⁵ ⁶.)
