• Obituary. ² Twila Arleda Reed Reed, 91, of Floyd, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Everette Reed and son, Rodney Micheal Reed.

She was a loving mother and pastors' wife for 69 years and a friend to many. Twila was involved with various community services in the community including Christmas for All, Floyd Ruritan Club, Floyd County Rescue Squad, VFW Auxiliary and several Brethren Churches.

She is survived by her son, Robert E. Reed (Debbie); daughter, Donna R. Johnson (Don); sister, Ina Thompson(Del); daughter-in-law, Sherry Reed; grandchildren, Jim Lemon, John Lemon, Dana Danis, Jodie Slusher, and Sidney Agosti; great-grandchildren, Stephen Danis, Natashia Danis, Michelle Danis, Ayla Lemon, Elisabeth Slusher, Kaitlin Slusher, Savannah Agosti, and Jordan Agosti.

Funeral Services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, January 17, 2015 at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Marvin Wade Officiating. The interment will follow in the Topeco Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 16, 2015 at Maberry Funeral Home.
