• Obituary. 2 James Horton Eoff was the son of Walter Ernest Eoff and Leslie Myrtle Curnutt, natives of Arkansas. James and his sister, Willodean (Eoff) Monroe, were raised in Boone County Arkansas and in Oklahoma City. Walter Eoff was a teacher in Arkansas and worked for the United States Postal Service in Oklahoma City.
James Horton Eoff married Caroline F Allen, the daughter of Dr Leslie J Allen and Floy W Brewer, September 18, 1937 in San Diego, California. At the time of their marriage James and Caroline were residents of Coronado, California. They were the parents of Carol Diane Eoff. James Eoff's untimely death occurred just two years after his marriage when the small plane he piloted crashed at Stoney Creek, Virginia. He was an ensign in the United States Navy and a member of a bomber squadron from the Aircraft Carrier Ranger.
James married Caroline Florence Allen on 6 Sep 1937 in San Diego CO, CA.1 2 (Caroline Florence Allen was born on 18 Aug 1912 in Tarrant Co., TX 7 8 9 and died in Jun 1985 in Oklahoma Co., OK 8 9.)
