She is survived by one son, Scott (DeAnne) Johnson of Wilmette, IL; one daughter, Nancy (Jim) Bell of Valparaiso, IN; five grandchildren, Lisa Bell, Christine (Christopher) Heim, Amelia, Kate and Emily Johnson. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert Johnson; parents, Cecil and Marie Eskridge and brother, C. William Eskridge. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, November 10, 2004 at 12:00 noon from St. Patrick Catholic Church, 638 N. Calumet Road, Chesterton, with Rev. James Meade officiating. Interment Service Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Chapel, 6001 W. 111th St., Alsip, IL. Mrs. Johnson was a 7th and 8th grade math teacher at Lincoln Middle School in Dolton, IL. She had taught in Dolton, IL for 20 years. A graduate of Chicago State Teachers College. She was a member of Infant Jesus of Prague Catholic Church, Flossmoor, IL.
