• Obituary: Galax Gazette: Grayson Co., VA. ² Miss Reka Comer, 15, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dow Comer, Comers Rock, passed away in the hospital here early Tuesday morning April 11, after having been ill for about eight weeks, practically all of which time she was a patient at the hospital.

Surviving are the parents and other relatives.

One of the largest assemblages ever to attend a funeral at Comers Rock gathered at Mt. Zion Methodist Church, there Wednesday morning, at eleven o'clock, for the funeral service.

The services were held by Rev. E. L. Bowyer, pastor of the Fries Circuit, Methodist Episcopal Church; Rev. J. E. Davis, pastor of the Elk Creek Circuit Methodist Episcopal Church, South, of which Mt. Zion is a part; Rev. J. T. Booth, pastor of the Wytheville Circuit and a former pastor of the Elk Creek Circuit, and Rev. Mrs. E. G. Key, pastor of the Galax Friends Church.

The body was interred in Comers Rock Cemetery.
