• Obituary. ² Edward Dell "Eddie" Cornett, 77, of Midland, passed away Monday April 24, 2017 at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, KY.

Born July 8, 1939, he was the son of the late Arch David and Eva Peters Cornett. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and member of the Midland First Church Of God.

Survivors include his wife, Pamela Webb Cornett, 2 daughters, Dawn Cornett Alley (Greg) and Amanda Cornett Brooks (Chris), 2 grandsons, Robbie and Brandon Alley and 3 brothers, Alford, Glenn and Layton Cornett.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Gerald Cornett.

Funeral arrangements are pending and will be announced later by Powell Funeral Home, Salt Lick, KY.

Edward married Pamela J. Webb.
