Mr. Cornett was a heat treat worker for General Motors Allison for 43 years, retiring in 1983. He was a member of the Brownsburg Christian Church and the Brownsburg Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his spouse, Betty (Garner) Cornett; a daughter, Nancy Henke of Indianapolis; two sons, Don and Gary Cornett, both of Brownsburg; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. James married Betty Louise Garner on 25 Oct 1947 in IN.1 (Betty Louise Garner was born on 2 Jul 1922 in Hendricks Co, IN 5 6 8 and died on 19 Aug 2007 in Hendricks Co, IN 5 6 8.)
