Rufus Fingleman WWI Draft Registration Card

Rufus Fingleman was the brother of August Ben Fingleman, and the son of August Fingleman and Florence Green. In September, 1918, he was 36 years old and lived in Dayton, Texas, where he worked as a carpenter. The Employers Name field on this draft registration card says "Own Acct.", indicating that he was self-employed.

Rufus was of medium height and build, with brown hair and brown eyes. He listed his nearest relative as his wife, Florence.

Of interest on this draft registration card is his full name, Rufus John Fingleman, as indicated on line 1 and in his signature at the bottom of the card. Other sources give his full name as John Rufus Fingleman.
