Myrel Joseph Fingleman Draft Card

Myrel Fingleman was Don's mother's half-brother, the son of her father August Fingleman and his first wife, Annie Stansbury. This draft card was completed in Houston, Texas, where Myrel lived. The card is not dated, but based on his stated age and date of birth, the card was completed in late 1940 or in 1941.

Myrel worked for Southern Transfer Company in Houston, and was five feet seven inches tall, weighing 140 pounds. He had brown eyes, brown hair and a ruddy complexion.
