Joe Fingleman WWI Draft Registration Card

This is Joseph Edward Fingleman's draft registration card. Joe was tall, of medium build, with brown hair and brown eyes. He lived in Liberty, and had a wife and child dependent on him for support, for which reason he claimed an exemption from the draft.

This card was completed in phase one of the World War I Civilian Draft Registration, on June 5, 1917. It shows that Joe was born in Refugio, and that his father was born in Germany.
