Charles Lewis Fingleman, Jr. Draft Card

Charles Lewis Fingleman, Jr. was the grandson of the first August Fingleman and the nephew of August Ben Fingleman. His draft card is dated October 16, 1940, and was completed in Houston, Texas. He was 27 years old, born in Goliad, Texas, and living in Houston.

Charles reported that he was employed by "L.E. Vahl", probably his cousin Louis Emery Vahl, son of his father's sister, Jesse Maria Fingleman Vahl. He was five feet nine and a half inches tall and weighed 132 pounds, with blue eyes, brown hair and a light complexion.
