Beef Pie

• 1-1/2 lbs. cooked hamburger (course ground is better), fried
• 1 medium sized onion
• 1 can of English peas, cooked
• 1 stalk celery, chopped fine
• 10 or 12 small new potatoes or 3 or 4 russets chopped
• Salt and pepper to taste

Mix everything together and put in a deep pyrex bowl that has been lined with pie crust. Put a pie crust lid on it. Prick it or slit the lid and cook at 375° F. Be sure bottom crust is done before it is out of the oven.

(Chicken pie is made the same way with cooked or boiled chicken instead of beef)
