Pie Crust For Cobblers

In a bowl, mix together flour, salt, sugar, shortening and shortening. Add 1/2 of the beaten egg. Mix to the size of coarse meal. Stir in lemon juice or vinegar.

Sprinkle ice water over mixture slowly and work into a ball gently (You may not need all of the water.). Roll out on a floured surface.

Press the crust into the baking dish and brush top with remaining egg.
