Peach Cobbler
1. Make cobbler crust (pie crust), cover sides of a deep dish with the crust
2. Put in peaches (either fresh or canned)
3. Place on top 2 cups sugar
4. Place on top butter - lots of dabs
5. Cook slowly at 300 until brown (2-3 hours)
Mother did not state how much peaches. But, if memory serves me right she filled the bowl (she used a large pyrex) until it was about an inch from the top. As far as the dabs of butter, she just took a stick of butter or more and cut until the top was almost covered.
