Fruit Cake

Sift together:

Into a large bowl add:

Mix fruit well with flour mixture - coat each piece of fruit.

Beat 4 large eggs until frothy. Gradually beat in 1 cup sugar and add to fruit. Mix well with hands. Mix in 2 pounds of pecan halves.

Line two loaf pans with heavily greased paper. Pour batter into pans and bake in a slow oven (275° F) for 1-1/2 hours.

Let cakes stand in pans 5 minutes and turn out.
