Grace's Fruit Cake

Mix:

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs 1 at a time. Add 2 cups of flour , baking powder and salt. Mix remaining flour over chopped fruit and nuts. Fold fruit and nuts into mix and add extract.

Line an angel pan and a loaf pan with oiled brown paper and pour mix into the pan. Bake 2-1/2 hours at 275° F with a pan of water under it.

Makes 1 angel pan and 1 loaf pan 3/4 full.
