Fresh Apple Cake

Mix and let stand 1 hour:

• 4 cups dried apples
• 2 cups sugar
• 1 cup chopped pecans

Mix:

• 3 cups flour
• 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1 cup Wesson oil
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 2 eggs

Stir ingredients well by hand. Grease and flour tube pan. Bake 1 hour 10 minutes at 350° F.
