Banana Cake

• 3 cups sugar
• 1 cup oleo or Crisco
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1/2 tsp. baking powder
• 1/2 tsp. soda
• 4 eggs
• 6 bananas, medium size
• 3 cups flour
• 1-1/2 cups nuts
• 1 tsp. vanilla

Cream together the sugar and oleo. Crush bananas and mix into the creamed sugar mixture. Add eggs one at a time and half the flour. Mix well. Add balance of flour, salt, baking powder, soda, nuts and vanilla. Mix well. Pour batter into a bundt pan or loaf pan.

Bake at 350° F for 1-1/2 hrs. until nicely brown.
