Apple Cake

• 2 cups sugar (substitute 1 cup brown)
• 3 cups flour
• 1 cup pecans
• 1 1/2 cups Mazola corn oil
• 3 eggs
• 2 delicious apples, chopped fine
• 1 tsp. soda
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1 tsp. vanilla

Sift soda and salt with 1 cup flour. Add sugar and remaining flour.

Mix pecans into flour and sugar mixture. Add remaining ingredients and cook 1 hour in ungreased tube pan in moderate oven (350° F).
