Cheesy Garlic Drop Biscuits

Preheat the oven to 450° F.

Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, garlic powder, sugar and Parmesan cheese, mix thoroughly. Cut in the butter with a pastry blender. Add the cheddar cheese and mix with your hands until well blended.

Add 3/4 cup of milk or buttermilk and stir well. If necessary add more milk a tablespoon at a time while stirring with a spoon until a soft, sticky dough forms. The dough will be lumpy - do not overstir it.

Drop the dough by spoonfuls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
